Licences
Each person who trains on RansomLeak needs a licence (a seat). The cards at the top of User Management show:
| Card | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Total Licenses | Seats your subscription includes |
| Licenses Redeemed | Seats in use |
| Licenses Available | Seats free for new people, after setting aside seats for pending invitations |
| Pending Invites | Invitations not yet accepted |

Two kinds of seats
Section titled “Two kinds of seats”- SAT (security awareness training): the standard seat. People get one automatically when they first sign in, as long as one is free.
- AppSec (secure development training): a separate pool, only if your subscription includes it. AppSec seats are never assigned automatically. Grant them when inviting someone, with Grant on a user’s row, or for a whole team.
Seats in one pool can’t be used for the other. Campaigns and learning paths of the AppSec type only accept people with an AppSec seat.
When seats are used and freed
Section titled “When seats are used and freed”- An invitation holds a seat until it’s accepted, deleted or expires.
- Granted seats can’t be taken back manually. A seat is released automatically 30 days after the user is disabled.
- If you re-enable someone after their seat was released, a free seat is needed again.
- Anonymous SCORM Users (learners who launch RansomLeak content from your own LMS) also use seats.
When you run out
Section titled “When you run out”- New invitations are refused: No available licenses.
- A CSV upload is refused entirely if it needs more seats than are free.
- People without a seat are skipped when you add them to a campaign or learning path.
- A person with no seat can’t sign in: Your account does not have an active license.
To add seats, contact your RansomLeak account manager. To free seats, disable people who’ve left: their seats return after 30 days.
